Our story
Mofazzal Hossain Foundation began its journey in 2018 in the village of Jhanjhania, Kaliganj Upazila, Jhenaidah District. The aim was simple — to stand beside the people of our village and the surrounding area when they need it.
We believe local participation and mutual trust are the foundation of lasting change. That is why every piece of our work starts by listening to the people around us.

Standing beside people in their most basic needs — from education to health, from crisis to collective progress.
Education
Standing by students who need it most — learning materials, encouragement and school-based support programs.
Who benefits: Under-served, promising students and their families.
Health
Basic health checks and awareness for elderly and vulnerable people — door to door when needed.
Who benefits: Elderly and sick people, and those who cannot easily reach health care.
Humanitarian aid
Winter clothing and blankets, emergency help in times of crisis — when and where it is needed.
Who benefits: Poor and elderly people, and families facing a crisis.
Social development
Bringing people together, nurturing young leaders and improving our area through collective action.
Who benefits: Village families, young people and the local community.

What we can promise, and what we can’t yet
We are a small, village-based team. Here is exactly what we can promise today — and what is still on its way.
We promise, starting today
- A receipt for every giftAfter we receive your donation, we send a receipt with your name and transaction details.
- Used for its purposeIf you give for a specific cause, your gift is used for that cause.
- Written recordsAll income and expenses are recorded in writing.
Not yet — and why
- An organization bank accountRegistration is in progress, so for now donations go to the personal bKash/Nagad account on the Foundation’s mobile number — each one receipted and recorded separately.
- A government registration numberOur application with the Department of Social Services is in progress. We will publish the number here as soon as we have it.
- Annual report and auditOur first annual report and financial statement are not ready yet. After registration, annual accounts will be audited as required.
